Adam Wallacavage's high drama light fixtures with Hello Kitty, octopus, and deer

May 5 |
You've probably seen Adam Wallacavage's octopus chandeliers floating around the 'net before — photos of them have made the rounds for a while now.
I was happy to stumble over his other sculptures this week — and I kind of love them even more. What's not to love about a macabre and dramatic deer skull?

Wallacavage takes the nerdiness in another direction with his Hello Kitty and Kurami fixtures:
My favorite of all his light installations is this Harry Potter-y owl chandelier, viewed from below here:

If you can't live without a Wallacavage in your home, check out his gallery list to see if you can find a show nearby.

Homies, what's your chandelier customization dream? Sci-fi glam like these? Simple '60s pendants? Recessed symbiotic lighting like Farscape's main ship? Hook us up with links!

  1. Also, you may need to get a "read more" up in this piece.

  6. OMG Kuromi chandelier! When I fell for her five years ago and had her tattooed onto my body. I utterly need that piece of awesome!
