Buy this sunnyside egg mold for a brighter happier breakfast

Okay, I don’t like my eggs sunnyside-up. And we all may remember how much I failed at my attempt to make one during the cooking challenge. But if perhaps I had this Sunnyside Silicon Egg Shaper at my disposal, there would have been fewer tears (and curse words) shed over my eggs.

In fact, look how happy this thing can make your breakfast plates…

So you want to get into loose leaf tea, but don’t know where to start…

My hubby and I started drinking tea a few winters ago while trying to cut down on sugar and pop, and it’s been a huge hit in the house ever since. Unfortunately it did take some trial and error to figure out the best ways to buy and brew a variety of loose leaf teas. That is what I’d like to share, the basics of getting into loose leaf tea without breaking the bank or winding up with a bunch of tea you hate (I swear I didn’t just throw out three tins of two-year-old tea that had only a couple of cups used…)

Megan-simple browned butter and Mizithra pasta

Ever since I discovered how easy it is to make browned butter and Mizithra pasta, it has become a monthly staple. I would have it more often, but it isn’t really all that healthy… but it sure is delicious. However, it is so easy even Megan can do it!

It sounds odd, looks kind of gross and has the consistency of applesauce but it tastes amazing.

Or maybe you didn’t realize all the great health benefits liver provides! Enjoy this layered liver cake recipe along with all these reasons you should add liver to your diet.

Make your own salad dressing with the help of a bottle

The bottle itself shows precise ingredient levels for each dressing — Asian, Caesar, French, Greek, Italian, Vinaigrette, Balsamic Vinaigrette and Honey Mustard. The secret to those bad boys will all be within your power to make with a shake!

Pangsit goreng: my favourite party snack

Pangsit was always a bit of a mystery to me; my grandma has been cooking for so long that she eyeballs all of her recipes and the way she folds these deep fried delights was too quick for me to follow. In short, pangsit goreng is deep fried wonton (although we’ll be using spring roll pastry, because oma said so), filled with a meat mixture. Now that I have uncovered the enigmas I’d love to share them with all of you lovelies.

Is this the cutest tea thinger I’ve seen today?

We all know I’m very serious about my tea (so serious that I have a special caffeine altar set up in my kitchen), but even I can’t resist the totally silly cuteness of this adorable rocket ship tea infuser. Brewing highly caffeinated awesomeness, lift-off in 3, 2, 1…
