I first spied a few of the photos from this fun family session in our Flickr pool a week or so ago, and after seeing a few more I knew it needed to be shared. This family is basically the epitome of SO MUCH FUN — I love that their session took place at EMP in Seattle! This is the stuff of colorful pop culture geekery dreams:

Um, how adorable is this family? And I love the concept and scenery (though I’m a little biased being from Seattle!)…but the thing I love the most? No babies. Yeah, I love that they’re a family of adults and are doing such an AWESOME photo shoot! Would love to see more families like this featured!!!

Yay for family portraits without babies! Not that I’m anti-baby, I just feel like there’s an unfortunate tendency to forget about family portraits between the time kids hit puberty and the time THOSE kids have kids. Huge black hole of no pictures!
My family just did an all-adult family photo session and it was a lot of fun! My parents, my [child-free] husband and I, and my [currently childless] little brother and his fiancé. You don’t NEED babies to have adorable pictures!
So when do we get to see those pics? 😉
This is totally inspiring! I want to do this with mine and my husband’s families, now, before any grandkids start popping up. WIN!
