Monday Moment: fashion and art collide in a hair salon
I love this moment set up in the entrance to Sirens Salon in Los Angeles (the place were I get my hairs did).
Monday Moment: vintage radio-infused color makes me want to dance
The moments in your home don’t have to be a large area (a la my living room moment or Caroline’s vanity). They can be just a small grouping of objects that, when placed together, make each object even more special.
Monday Moment: an impractical nook turned design moment
Drew’s new apartment came with neat little nook that was too small to be fully functional but to big to be ignored. So he created this awesome moment, complete with unusually rockin’ “flowers.”
Monday Moment: the dark and girly version
Our copyeditor Caroline created a gorgeous moment on and around her vanity. But I also had to throw in a bonus bed moment because it’s the perfect lesson in how you can make your bedroom dark and goth-y yet still pretty and girly.
Monday Moment: vintage Wurlitzers and floating doors
This is my favorite moment in my home. And it’s a good thing too, because it’s the very first thing you see when you walk in the door. It’s kind of a great combo of me and that guy I married — a mixture of musician, vintage, and a really weird place to put a door.
Introducing decor “moments”
Introducing Monday Moments! What’s a “moment”? Well, it used to be an inside joke between my mother and I, but now I’d like to pull all my Homies in on it. Let’s share moments, shall we?
