The coolest Whovian bathroom decor in all of time and space #Decor & Decorating#Pop Culture#Shopping#bathrooms#Doctor Who#geeky August 25 2014 | Megan Finley Horowitz meggyfin Last time I rounded up all my favorite Whovian home goods. This time, in true Megan style, I'mma do a Doctor Who bathroom roundup! Let's nerd up the small space that you spend so much timey-wimey inside… Obviously, this towel set is a MUST HAVE. The Starry Night with Tardis shower curtain is my favorite. There's also the Van Gogh Exploding Tardis shower curtain. There's also the super subtle Tardis shower curtain. And then the not-so-subtle Tardis shower curtain. This Tardis shower caddy is probably my favorite thing to happen to my shower in a long time. Tardis hand soap dispenser. Add the crack in time wall decal for extra Whovian creepiness. Now all there's left to do is grab your Fourth Doctor bathrobe… …and your Sonic Screwdriver toothbrush (yes that's a thing!) and allons-y to your perfect Whovian bathroom! NEXT This app may help me get over my fear of buying perishables Show/Hide comments [ 15 ] Absolutely love the shower caddy (I feel that's not the right word for here in the UK, but I'm not sure what is. Shower storage unit? Shower tidy? Anyone have any idea? Caddy just sounds like not a British English word). Totally different aside: I was told the other day that for the fourth doctor's scarf the producers decided he should have one and gave some granny a bag of old wool balls and asked her to make a scarf. They hadn't envisaged that she would use ALL OF THE WOOL. I haven't verified this story (although it came from a source I trust, my sister), because it's so awesome that I will be sad if it isn't true. 6 agree Reply TRUTH! "According to Baker, the Doctor's scarf was the idea of costume designer James Acheson. Acheson, knowing little about knitting, procured large quantities of various colours of wool, and commissioned Begonia Pope, a friend of his, to create a colourful design. She proceeded to use all of the wool provided, resulting in the absurdly long, but iconic, accessory." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_Doctor#Appearance Also, I want to live in this bathroom. 2 agree Reply Hah, amazing! I knew my sister wouldn't let me down. 2 agree Reply Yeah, I'd go for "shower tidy", though it's one of those situations where when I start thinking about it every possibility sounds wrong. I get that with spellings, too; the longer I look at the word the less idea I have about whether it's right. Anyway. That particular item is very beautiful. I need something like that for my shower, but at the same time the cubicle is too damn small, really, so I'm sad. I love the towels, too. Reply Such a cool bathroom. Reply I need that shower caddy in my life. Like, tomorrow. Reply Bathroom of my dreams. Megan, you have outdone yourself. 2 agree Reply YAY! Love to hear it. Just consider me your bathroom companion. 😉 …but not, like, in a WEIRD way. 2 agree Reply Aw. Totally got excited for a minute there 😉 3 agree Reply I love this so hard. I now am planning the entire revamp of my bathroom 1 agrees Reply Aw, I clicked on the link thinking Whovian stood for Whoville, as in a Dr. Seuss themed bathroom! I hope that's next 🙂 3 agree Reply Ooooooh… it just might be, Erin. It just might be. 😉 Reply My husband put the soap dispenser in my Christmas stocking last year!!! The sonic screwdriver toothbrush is pretty awesome. Reply These are awesome! If only we didn't already have a Spider-Man theme going in out bathroom…. (We're only missing themed towels and a soap holder/dispenser…. But now that I see that shower caddy, I think our current one could use a spider-man make over….) Reply Wait, don't forget the TARDIS bath mat! We have this at home, along w/ the soap dispenser 🙂 Now I've been eyeing those towels… Reply Join the conversation Cancel Reply Your email address will not be published.
