Love it. Rope + soil + clean jars + succulents = hanging garden. So easy, so upcycle-y, so lovely. This would work super well with herbs, too, or small flowers like violets!

Yessssss. Must install wooden beam in my apartment to make this possible.
Be careful with growing things in jars… there is no drainage and it is easy to get root-rot, just a heads up!
I’ve been growing houseplants in jars for years – just don’t overwater them and you’ll be good.
baby food jars? thoughts?
I’ve been trying to find a container small enough to fit mini succulents in to display in a tiny weird window. Baby food jars could be perfect.
