The sweetest whimsical nursery decor (that you can totally use on your adult walls!)

Are you ever shopping online for that perfectly saccharine, pastel, animal-themed, or just plain sweet art for your walls and end up in the whimsical nursery decor section? Yeah, yeah, these prints are mostly for kid's rooms, but who says you can't rock that pastel unicorn, dapper sloth, and sparkly constellation illo on your own adult walls? YOU DO YOU. And I'm going to do me by snagging that bespectacled tabby who is clearly my patronus.

Annabelle's non-pink bird-themed bedroom

When it came to decorating my daughter's bedroom, I knew pink and purple were definitely out! Instead, I opted for "grown-up" prints in fun colors, and there is a bit of a bird motif throughout. My ultra handy husband did all the trim work himself!

My son's Nintendo and Mario-themed bedroom

When I learned I was pregnant I knew immediately that my child's room would include elements from my old favorite original Nintendo games.  I started working on items for him right away, many of which are still in his room today.

My daughter's awesome '70s-inspired nursery

We moved into our rental on our first anniversary and when I was in my third trimester of pregnancy with my daughter Logan. I was so excited to get started on her nursery — I knew it was going to be bright and vibrant. I had made some pillow cases for my former Etsy store and paired them with a quilt that was made for my husband and I as a wedding gift.
