I’ve been hearing rumblings about the new Vans Harry Potter collection for months now. Since I’d missed their previous Mario collection a few years back, so I wanted to get in on this one while it was still available. Y’all know some of these won’t last long. And now it’s here!
Here are some of my faves from the collection.
If you’ve got a pair of canvas shoes that you really love, you probably want them to last. I just nabbed this pair of rainbow shoes from Target recently and they’re already showing some wear. Sadface. There are a couple of really easy ways to waterproof canvas shoes to keep them more resistant to rain and the elements: beeswax and my preferred way, Scotchguard. Here are both methods to try on your fave pair…
Don’t ask how I ran across these super weird shoes on Amazon. It was a series of weird events that led to fish shoes. But now you do and nobody can go back from this. You’re in it with me and we must proceed to see the weirdest shoes I was able to find. Are these your new gag gift, white elephant present, birthday gift for that weird uncle, or your own brand new fish sandals, pug slides, or grass-lined flip-flops?
Either way, you’ve got to see these weird shoes and sandals (and some that are downright adorable!)…
It’s that time of the galactic year again: May the Fourth be with you! Sure, you’re probably already inundated with merch from the new Star Wars rebooted universe, but this DIY tutorial HAD to be shared. Why? Because it’s for spinning BB-8 heels. Seriously, the heels are BB-8 from Star Wars: The Force Awakens and they SPIN.
For cold, dreary nights, you need a solid pair o’ slips. And when you can look
chic geeky as hell at the same time, even better. Here are 30 of favorite geeky, light-up, and heated slippers to warm your tootsies in classy-ass style. Keep an eye out for 8-bit Nintendo, Star Wars, Doctor Who, dinosaurs, emojis, and Hobbit feet.
Can you even believe these lightsaber lace-up heels? The heels feature Luke’s lightsaber and flash blue when you step! Of course they’re from Offbeat Empire favorite, Irregular Choice. Of course they’re $323. Of course I want them… along with all these other Star Wars shoes from Irregular Choice and Think Geek…
Over on our sister site Offbeat Bride, we rounded up a bunch of goodies from our sponsors for Halloween weddings. Most of these things aren’t just for weddings at all though. So please to enjoy, Halloween fashions and gifts for all!
Due to ongoing hip/back problems and the fact that my left leg is over three centimeters(!) longer then my right one, my doctor has fitted me for custom orthotic insoles. (/dies) Help me Homies, you’re my only hope! Is this the end of cute, airy summer shoes for me?
