Holy cow! I might just get one and hang it up on a wall. Reply Ooh… that's a pretty awesome idea! Reply OH MY GOD. These are amazing. Reply ahhhh, there are shower curtains too!!!!! Reply Okay. That is something I HAVE to have! Reply Ohemgeee, I was just looking for awesome duvet covers! I bought a great one from Ikea, but these are so much more fabulous and lustworthy. The beta fish cover reminds me of my kindergarten self's pet. I named my fish Sapphire Diamond, even though I knew it was a boy, because I was 5 years old and I didn't care, I wanted the most regal name known to man. This may have been when my journey towards LGBTQ advocacy started. Reply I'm in the market for a duvet right now too. And these guys just got bookmarked. Reply I named my beta fish "Sparkle Sapphire" because I too did not care and wanted my pretty fish to have a pretty name. Reply Ooh I love these! Reply I… But… I like my duvet cover, but I think I require a new one now… Like those cherry blossoms. Or maybe I'll just buy the Betta Fish for my sister next Christmas? I think she has a duvet. Reply What, no links to this badness?: DENY Designs Madart Winter Sparkle Duvet Cover I love the bright colors. Reply Sweet holy cupcakes….that one is amazing. Reply Holy crap! That is so beautiful! But $180? : ( Honestly, I don't even know what a duvet cover is, but I bout my comforter at Target for like $20 on clearance. It's hideous. : (( Reply I might just need several of these to have on rotation (that's totally a valid coping mechanism for awesome overload, right?). Reply totally justified… You're supposed to rotate them as you wash them. Boyfriend and I are blanket hogs so we each have our own queen sized duvet on the bed. His are grey/black colored and mine are purple. Well rotate black or purple stripes against black/purple solids. My purple stripes are ripping so we MIGHT need an elephant duvet!! Reply YES!!!!!!!! I have been searching high and low for fabulous bedding! Reply I need this on my bed NOW Reply Liora is absolutely gorgeous! Reply i'm really diggin that Octopus one! Reply These are awesome. I can't decide which one I liked best, but the ones with the animals were all pretty cool. Reply Holy crap-I love the Octopus one more than I have the words for. I can't even begin to consider a second, I am far too blown away. Off now to do some clickin' and droolin'. Amazing find!! Reply Confession: I don't actually know what a duvet cover is for. Can you stick just any old blanket inside? Could this be the solution to my ugly-but-still-functional (sigh) bedding problems? Reply They're usually for stuffing plain 'ol comforters inside. But I've seen people use them to cover thick ugly blankets. So, yes! It's like a slip cover for ugly-but-still-functioning bedding. Reply As far as I know (which might be wrong), they're for stuffing a duvet in, which is one of those big fluffy comforters, normally filled with feathers. Since you can't really wash them easily, being full of feathers, you use a cover to have something easy to clean. But there's no reason you couldn't shove whatever random blankets you want in them. Reply I wondered the same thing, but realised that in my part of the world (Australia) we often refer to them as doonas. Might have to get me one 😀 Reply It's a quilt cover! Reply OMG Y'ALL! I just found their unicorn pillow: Reply AHHH! My girls would die for that! Reply OMG, AlL OF THESE ARE AMAZING! Sorry for yelling, but seriously, yay! I actually love every single one that has a tree on it. I need a tree on my bed!!! Reply I love the '70s vibe on a lot of these. When I was a kid I thought "yuck", now I think "ah, nostalgic"! Funny how tastes change (or possibly disappear, depending on who you ask). Reply Question: does anyone know how soft these are? My husband and I tend to place the softness of our bedding high above aesthetics, but man if it could be soft AND look this awesome…? So, anyone have one of these and can tell a girl how snuggable it is? Reply I don't have personal experience, but the description seems to think they're soft: "…this duvet cover is not only personal, but incredibly cozy as well. Created out of microfiber material that is unique to DENY Designs, our duvets are ultra soft and amazingly comfortable." Reply I have such a sad. I was totally ready to buy that octopus one but I hate microfiber and polyester bedding. I am a 100% cotton bedding kind of girl. Reply According to one of the Amazon reviewers: "If none of you don't know what microfiber feels like, its soft and is like the feel of a snuggie or a warm blanket but thicker. I don't mind it but some others may be looking for something top notch. Either way I absoutely love it, and to be honest the feel is perfect for someone like me who likes to be warm when going to sleep." Reply I don't wanna be this guy.. but here I go. Holy jeebus those are expensive. Fantastic but expensive. Reply I'm afraid of ruining nice/fancy things on my bed. I've burned one too many blankets in coin-operated driers. Which is doubly sad, because I got heirloom linens/bedding from each "side" at my wedding (totally unplanned but carries a lot of sentiment) and I'm afraid to use it and ruin it. Reply I'd be terrified of my cat tearing it up when he gets to rooting around in my blankets… Claws + expensive stuff? 🙁 Reply I'm with you! They are beautiful, but not cheap! My cat loves to play on the bed, so everything ends up with little tiny pulls in the fabric. I'd rather be able to have to cat snooze with us, than never let him in the room so he doesn't ruin the very expensive doona cover. Reply You've definitely made the right choice – cats are more important than covers. That said, if you don't mind a few pulls and hitches in your covers you can still have nice ones with gorgeous designs; just accept that the very expensive cover won't look pristine for long 🙂 I am so overwhelmed! How could a person possibly choose? I want to decorate a room around every single one of these designes. I am getting weirdly frustrated… Reply Am I the only one who was all about this until I noticed they do not have ANY options for a full sized bed? Reply Agreed! Reply This is actually common. Many (most?) duvet manufacturers just sell a "full/queen" size. Reply Talk about perfect timing – I'm moving Saturday and I'm in desperate need of both a duvet cover and a shower curtain. These are wicked awesome 🙂 Reply I love all of these so so so much…. Here's my problemo, I know my guy wouldn't go for these. Gorgeous as they are, they probably have too many flowers for his taste (plus he has more modern decor tastes). I would love to see more duvet cover posts because most duvet covers I've found are so…boring. We really need a new one! Reply Oh god, I have never wanted any kind of bedding so badly. Birds. Octopus. The abstract-floral designs. Do, do want. Reply Love them so so much! What I wouldn't do for a bedspread like this. I tried and tried and tried to order the octopus shower curtain off Amazon and they don't ship to Australia. Only the designs I didn't want ship here. Kind of frustrating. I've never actually got anything of Amazon apart from my Kindle books because there is nowhere on the main page that says where they ship then you run through all of the address details only for it to then reject you. Reply OMG Scratch that! THEY SHIPPED IT TO ME!!!! I just got the octopus shower curtain 😀 yay! Reply Years of coloring books as a kid make me itch for markers whenever I see stuff like the top design. Reply Oh good, I wasn't the only one thinking it. lol They do make fabric markers, so there's always that option… Reply They are amazing, but from clicking the link I learned they also make the most beautiful shower curtains known to mankind! I am in love with those shower curtains!!! Reply I love the Octopus shower curtain! Reply If I had one of these I swear I would actually make my bed everyday just to look at it in all its glory!!! Reply Just checked dimensions and standard US dimensions aren't the same as Aus/NZ. Gutted!! Reply Octopus. On my bed. FUCK YES. Reply I've had that octopus duvet on my wishlist for YEARS but it's so expensive. =( Reply Zulily (a flash sale sight) has DENY stuff at a discount fairly frequently! I can't remember the discount, but I've been tempted a few times. So fun! Reply It's SO HARD to find cool duvet covers that are 100% cotton tho! All the DENY designs are polyester :/ Reply Join the conversation Cancel Reply Your email address will not be published.
