I got this email from a longtime Homie:

I was searching around for something to replace a Doctor Who angel Christmas tree topper (I waited too long and they’re sold out now, boo). It occurred to me that I’d LOVE to see what other Offbeat Homies have for their holiday decor.

Can you do a round up post? Because apparently HGTV does not satisfy my voyeuristic inclinations enough. -Laura

So I kicked it off on Offbeat Home & Life’s Instagram by sharing my mom’s holiday decor. (She’s going for a “rustic Christmas” vibe. Which, for my mom, means burlap ribbons adorning her hanging crystal ornaments.) Then I asked all y’all to tag your holiday decor photos with #offbeathome, so that we could get a peek. And boy oh boy did that pay off. There are trees where trees shouldn’t be, a terrifying wreath, and so much retro decor it’ll make you flip your lids…

  1. OMG that Nightmare Before Christmas wreath!!!! 😀 that makes me so happy! aww I love seeing all of these set ups. we are moving in a couple weeks so I didn’t decorate this year. Thanks for letting me live vicariously through yall!

  7. my husband and I have Hillary Clinton the nutcracker figurine on top of our tree! It’s a joke, but some people things it sacrilegious. So funny, though. If only we also had the Bill Clinton wine bottle opener to match.
