Anita Roll Murals created an amazing giant squid mural that wraps around the entire room. She described this work as, “Giant squid engulfs this little boy’s room with playful tentacles. A little over the top yes… but why not?”
Why not, indeed! Just look at the rest of the walls:
This is the coolest freaking room I’ve ever seen. And, quite frankly, I’m jealous of the little boy that gets to live in it.
Anyone seen any other examples of kid’s decor that you’d totally rock in your very adult home?

I *love* bedroom murals, and this one is stunning!
I painted a mural of a castle over the ocean in my bedroom when I was in high school. I was talking to my mom this weekend and found out it was the only room not painted over in white (by buyers request) when the house was sold. Apparently a new little girl was going to get the mural. Makes me wonder if it’s still there, still being enjoyed.

Jealous! In my old apartment, I had a giant octopus mural on my hallway wall. This makes me determined to bring it back to my next home!
