Faster than you can say “Zoomorphic Home,” I have another awesome animal-shaped home decor item. (Remember my post about animal kitchen gadgets?) This time, it’s a bed frame that is an actual giant teddy bear… with a pink mohawk!
Please ignore that it’s supposedly for kids, because that’s bullshit. Mohawk-ed bear beds are for EVERYONE, especially ones that have “pockets in the paws for easy hugging.” No shit! That’s from its “key point” diagram, which is NOT to be missed:
Are you dreaming of this being your new bed? Or are you having weird googly-eyed pink-mohawked nightmares? Personally, if this thing came in king size, I’d be all over it. Ariel, meanwhile, just emailed to say this thing reminds her of pedobear.
(PS: They also have a giant Hello Kitty bed cover too.)
That is kinda awesome. I think I would have to customize it with tatts or piercings though.
Did you see that he comes with changeable colored mohawks too!? I think the piercings would look good on him.

I think this explains my discomfort with this product.
This reminds me so much of the tortoise and peacock beds in Haroun and the Sea of Stories. Like Rashide and Haroun, I’d be wildly uncomfortable and unable to sleep, but that’s just me.
