Do you remember those “TUFF DISH” tattoo-inspired dish gloves? I’ve been lusting after them for a while now and I thought I’d snag me a pair. And then I thought, “You know who else might like a cute pair of cleaning/dish gloves? My mom. But, uh, those would not be her style.”

You know what else is not her style? 90% of the “cute” fashion-y dish gloves that I can find. They are either too girly or way too utilitarian and plain. Is there something in the middle — something different but that doesn’t scream “I eat makeup for breakfast and poop pink glitter”? -Aurora

  1. So, update on this: I did manage to find a red polka dot pair on… eBay. Apparently they have a bigger range than Amazon does, which, go figure. The eBay seller included a free pink pair with hearts on them as a thank-you, so now I have a collection. I am thinking, now that I see the skeleton ones you posted, I am going to have to get a pair for every season…

  2. I loved those Glam Gloves when I bought them, but they didnt even last a week for me on two different pairs. They like to tear in the fingers, even with really short natural nails.

  3. When I worked in direct care my hands were constantly chapped from washing them and I became dish glove obsessed. I’ve actually had pretty good luck with the Glam Gloves. I had a pink pair with an elastic wrist to keep water out, but sadly they were thin and didn’t last long. Gotta get the tattoo ones- those are awesome!
