Make a holiday wreath out of a ceiling medallion

Over on Home Talk, Shannon Madigan showed us all how she used a ceiling medallion to create this awesome Halloween-themed wreath. If you’re unfamiliar with ceiling medallions, they’re decorative pieces that go flush against the ceiling above your hanging light fixtures, and they come in a lot of different styles. I’ve seen them used as wall art before, but this is my first notice of them being used as wreath alternatives.

Of course you could make easy ceiling medallion wreaths for ANY of the upcoming holidays. But I’m definitely a big fan of this dark Halloween version.
