What do you think a home would look like if it was set to be LA’s most expensive home? If you’re imagining 3.25 acres of eco-friendly hilltop property in Beverly Hills with a 18,500 square foot palatial estate designed by Richard Meier & Partners Architects, you’d be right. The home itself has a huge open floor plan with gallery-like spaces, rooms hidden behind discreet doors, two staircases and an elevator (natch!), automated doors (the Star Trek dream!), and even a lower level for the staff (hello Downton Abbey!).
The gym alone is larger than my apartment at 1,148 square feet. There are five huge bedrooms including a massive owner’s suite with it’s own deck, huge expansive-in closets, and a spa-like bathroom. Outside there’s a gorgeous 85-foot pool, pool house, and parking for 35 cars. Which is, let’s see, 35 more than I have. Har har.
The pièce de résistance (for me, at least) is the private screening room. Le sigh.
According to Domino, the home currently belongs to Casey Wasserman, a sports and media mogul and grandson of Hollywood talent agent Lew Wasserman who also lived on the lot for about 50 years.
All this and more can be yours for the low, low price of only $125 million. Now that we know the house we’re all chipping in to buy, claim your space now and start singing, “champagne wishes and caviar dreams.”

I like that the house kinda looks lived in–there’s stuff on the nightstands, things in the kitchen. Doesn’t look as sterile as I expected.
I really appreciate your article, I thought that investing in real estate is more profitable as compared to investing in gold. And also there are less risk factors in real estate investment. So that’s why I personally prefer to invest in real estate.
