Located in Huissen, The Netherlands, this spooky house for sale is priced at €350,000 ($431,207 or £305,699) and is chock full of historical details and is dubbed "Het Spookhuis" (the haunted house!). They even mention ghost stories in the listing. Just wait until you see the old timey bar, creepy attic, halls full of caskets(!), and mini theater covered in newsprint wallpaper. It's spectacular. Here's how the listing describes it… The most talked-about home of Huissen– nicknamed 'Het Spookhuis' — is a unique, detached sixteenth century manor house with numerous historical details. From the Huismanstraat, this unique monument is separated by a water party where two 'white wives' floating on the lake keep the memory of mystery and ghost stories alive. The House — 't Huis Binnenveld as the official name — has an impressive area of use of more than 440 m² and includes an equipped bar and compact theater. The living spaces in the house are spacious, the staircase is fairytale-like, the façade view famous, and everything in the house breathes history and authenticity. It is sold, in case you were jonesing for it, but at least we can ogle the spooky rooms in these photos… Related Post Ever wanted to live in a Wes Anderson film? I’m so happy you liked it and even mentioned me! Thanks! (Could you fix two typos? Its ‘Huissen’ (one n) and officially ‘The Netherlands’.) Reply I'd love to see this house candlelit. Even if you'd probably have to pay me to actually sleep there, it would be well worth a visit. Also, we should give Tim Burton a call because he wouldn't need to film anywhere else.
