When I saw this illusion ghost pillow, I knew my current Halloween decor had no chill. It’s upgrade time, y’all. I’m talking vintage Halloween goods, channeling horror movies, creepy cute prints, and wall decals you’ll have to pry from my cold, dead hands. Those are going up year-round!
Halloween’s-a-coming, so let’s go see what killer Halloween home decor we can add to our earlier-each-year decorating repertoire…
I’m a big fan of Halloween parties for kids (candy! apples! games!), but if you’re planning a more sophisticated Halloween party for grown-ups, you’ll want to up your game. Here are a few of my favorite chic Halloween decor ideas, shmancy Halloween cocktails, and killer ways to keep things spooky at your adult Halloween shindig.
You might remember Krista from her rainbow polka dot nursery. She’s not just great at decorating, she’s also been making elaborate Halloween costumes for the past 10 years.
In honor of Halloween, I thought I’d share them with you…
Are you totally over pumpkin recipes yet?! I never tire of a little basic bish pumpkin spice, so I’m showing you three pumpkin-filled monstrosities of yumminess to serve up well into Thanksgiving season. Extend the goodness as long as you like. We’ve got some pancakes, killer dream bars, and a versatile dip that you can re-purpose in all kinds of ways. Shall we tempt your already-pumpkin spiced taste buds a little more? I say AYE!
I re-shared this photo with the coolest studded pumpkin EVAR! And one of you guys informed me: Um, hello Megan, that’s also from Target.
OF COURSE IT IS! And you know what else? Target has some of the most bad-ass, not cheesy Halloween decor right now. Check this shit out…
While brainstorming ideas for our Halloween wedding, the first project my guy and I agreed on were these nerdy Jack-o-Lanterns. We wanted them to cover a broad range of our interests from comic books, to TV fandoms, and classic literature. In the spirit of love, we want you to steal this idea for your Halloween pumpkins! All of the templates we have are pre-sized and ready for you to print and carve.
Over on our sister site Offbeat Bride, we rounded up a bunch of goodies from our sponsors for Halloween weddings. Most of these things aren’t just for weddings at all though. So please to enjoy, Halloween fashions and gifts for all!
I’m a sucker for costuming and drooling over amazing cosplay pictures online. In October my local bike shop is having a “tweed ride” involving riding in period costumes, and I want to use this to give a try at cosplay (Victorian Mary Watson in her badass riding habit, for those who wonder). I don’t have an inkling where to start. I can sew, but should I sew my whole costume? Alter some pieces of garment? Are there tacit rules for cosplaying? Is the devil really in the details?
