Monday Moment: punk rock walls surround this makeshift dining room

Thanks to Tina for uploading her favorite moment in her home — her dining room. Yes, that table and vinyl chairs are amazeballs, but it’s what’s on the walls around ’em that really make this moment kick ass and take names.

How do you weather/bug proof a rental apartment?

My husband and I live in an apartment that we love, except for the bug problem. We have a large gap in our door where they keep coming in. I’ve done some research about sealing the gaps, but it all seems geared to people who own their home. Any advice for bug and weather proofing for the renting Homies?

Your Gorgeous Wall O’ Goals

Making The Lists and Accomplishing All The Things are practically my favorite hobbies.

Of course, I have a never-ending, constantly-evolving list of yearly goals, but since it’s a piece of notebook paper taped to the wall, it’s less than inspiring.  And while I know the rest of the Internet loves nothing so much as aspirational Pinterest accounts and vision boards, that stuff just isn’t quite my style.

Robert Redford’s rustic cabin dream house is for sale and OMG YOU GUYS I LOVE HIM

My infatuation with Robert Redford goes back about a decade to when I saw Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid for the first time and promptly watched all of his movies in the span of one summer. But in all the time I’ve loved him it’s never occurred to me to Google where he lives. Does that sound creepy? Because I don’t mean for it to.

How do I keep my air plant happy?

Hi, I’m Megan and I’m still displaying a sad dead plant on my shelf. Clearly others are keeping their air plants alive and happy… what am I missing here?

6 ways to pimp your tiny rental kitchen

Our kitchen is teensy. I can pretty much touch both walls ay once, in both directions. I love to cook and bake, so it was important to me that even though the kitchen was small, it worked well and held everything I need at arm’s reach without chaos in every cupboard.
We’re renters, so while I could write a million posts about things I’d do in this kitchen if I owned it (pot rack, wall mounted lid racks, more sensibly proportion cabinets, extra shelving… etc), here are some ideas that anyone can do — whether you own your house or not.

This handcrafted heirloom Star Wars bassinet is perfect for your snoozing Padawan

Rebel Belle Wedding clients Dorian and Lynn are super deluxe Star Wars fans — the pair had a dinosaur/Star Wars-themed wedding that featured a real-life Millennium Falcon cake. Now they’re at it again, and this time they’ve got a baby on the way.
