Holy crap guys, how awesome is the Book Rest Lamp!? You know… for those of you who still read actual books. (I say “those of you” because I’ve totally become a Kindle convert.)

just don’t put the book on there when it is actually lit up… FIRE HAZARD!
I worried about that, too.
Maybe it uses LEDs (which don’t produce much heat)? The light in the picture doesn’t really look like LED light, though.
That was my first thought too!
CFL’s don’t produce heat so you could probably use that in it. And CLF’s come in all kinds of colours now.
Do any of you own this lamp? I want to give it as a gift, but I’m feeling a little sticker shock from the various websites.
