Come with me this Monday and tiptoe through the Offbeat Home Flickr Group to enjoy uploads from our readers.
Clicky Liiiiiiiinks
- You guys love your non-permanent wall coloring solutions. How’s about a removable, paintable wallpaper? (Thanks, Cait!)
- ALERT: Steampunk laptops now for sale.
- Inspiration for your houses: an Alice in Wonderland-themed restaurant.
- A cool tool, indeed: fitted sheets with pockets for your phones, books, remotes.
- HIGH COLOR lamps and chairs. YES.
- From Offbeat Mama, for those of you with kids AND gardens: We’re turning our kiddos into gardeners, and they love it.
Offbeat Home wants your shots! Upload your photographs to our Flickr pool and we’ll alllllll look at them. You can also submit stories, tours, how-tos, questions, and clicky links. Check out the submissions page for all the information.
The dotted picture in Bryce Hudson’s studio reminds me of the colourblind tests you do at school when you’re about 8.
All the rocks in the rock garden border, as well as the larger one in the center, are heart shaped! So sweet!
Hey! I just moved to Bernal Heights (from Minnesota) a couple of weeks ago and I saw that lost sock board while out on a walk. Awesome.
Also, if my herbs actually grow, I am totally going to get a “WOOHOO!” sign.
I really love the art on the wall in de ‘classy dinner’pic. Wonder where they got it…
I have a “Keep Calm and Eat A Cupcake” print as well but it has not been put up as of yet. I’m looking for the right frame to coordinate it with the “Cheese” one.
I kind of want to make the sock exchange for my home.
i’m totally making a sock exchange for my laundry, i forever find socks and i’m like, “i know i saw the other one yesterday, where is it now?”
I actually made one of sorts: I have some shelves above my laundry machines, and I turned a basket into what I call a Socks Lonely Hearts Club – for all those socks that seem to lose their partners in the wash. Each time I do the laundry and end up with odd socks, I check the Socks Lonely Hearts Club for a partner.
