You know those magnetic tables that usually fill the lobbies of pediatrician’s offices and the like? My kid is OBSESSED with them, and always asking to take one home after we leave. Lo and behold, Jamiee at Craft, Interrupted has made one for her kids — and she’s got all kinds of templates and designs you can use to scheme up your own!
What you need
- 11″ by 17″ metal cookie sheet, with sides
- metal, hinged book rings (3)
- 3 sheets of craft felt
- velcro tabs
- duct tape
- clear con-tact paper
- circle craft magnets (1/2″ diameter by 1/4″ thick)
- scrapbook paper & computer print-outs
Head over to Craft, Interrupted to get the nitty gritty on how you can make your own travel magnetic table!
That’s amazing! I’m so thankful for these inventive people – I’m glad for the link, and I’ll make one when small a is ready for one.
Thanks SO much for this feature! What a pleasant surprise : )
The link attached showing the actual “how to” isn’t working… is there anyway you can give me the specific directions on how to do so?
Thanks! 🙂
