This home birth from Orange County-based Blair Nicole Photography is SO SWEET, you guys. Says Blair:
I woke up to my phone ringing [on May 15, 2012 at 1:30AM], and a message from Chad (Veronica’s husband) telling me its time, and that Veronica is finally in labor! I texted him back asking how far along she is, and to let me know when she is at about 7cm. At 1:55AM I got a text back saying she was 8cm dilated — it was go time!
I arrived to Chad and Veronica’s house at 2:30AM. The mood was very calm with relaxing coaching music playing in the back ground, Veronica breathing through contractions while submerged in an inflatable pool, with her best friend Emily’s arms around her. Then, as soon as I set my bag down, and tossed in a new camera battery, Veronica was ready to push!
