It looks soooo fun! I also really want to plant a pineapple now. My attempts at sprouting an avocado seed have been fruitless. Reply My avocado seed may have gotten stuck in the neck of the jar (a former mustard jar) where I had it, so I can't give it more water until I figure out how to un-jam it without causing damage. It's been this way for an embarrassingly long time, now. I have, however, been quite successful so far with grapefruit, pomegranate, and bell pepper seeds. It's more out of curiosity than necessarily expecting to have edible fruit come from the first two–just interesting houseplants. 🙂 Reply I worked at a restaurant that infused their own "apple pie" vodka – apples, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and lemon zest.
