I am probably betraying my geekier sensibilities here, but if we end up having a daughter this is exactly the kind of message I want her to send to the world:
Seriously, I can’t think of a better shirt for a little girl to wear around. Why not give her a head start in feeling empowered and encourage the idea that knights on white horses are awesome and all, but it’s way more fun to be riding around on a horse yourself than waiting around for someone to come rescue you?
The shirt comes in kid sizes XS, S, and M, and in grown-up sizes as well. I’m not ashamed to say I want one. Not even a little bit.
I have been eyeing the grown-up version of this shirt for awhile now! Love it!
Was logging on it comment that I'd buy it in an adult size, and now am really, really excited…

Why don't you let your daughter choose for herself whether she wants to be rescued or not. By buying that shirt your making her out to be what you want and not what she wants.
Ah, but you see, that's the fun of being a self-rescuing princess. You can rescue yourself if you want, but you're also not afraid to ask for help if you feel like it 😉
I'm fairly certain that, were I to buy this shirt for my infant daughter, it would not automatically mean imposing my worldview on her.
