Graphic novel home decor to add some BOOM! POW! to your room #Shopping#comics#decor#home goods Updated Oct 12 2015 (Posted Apr 12 2013) Megan Finley Horowitz meggyfin There's no doubt that comic books and graphic novels are awesome because of their colors and wonderful artwork. There's no reason you have to wait until you crack open a book to enjoy all that color and adventure. Bring in some of these graphic novel-themed decor pieces to add some BOOM POW to any room in your pad. I feel like the Fuck Everything Comic Art Throw Pillow was made for me. She even looks like me! I regret not buying it when I saw it in person. Don't be like me! This is a powerfully-kick-ass room divider with a montage of original comic book cover art, with Thor, the Hulk, the Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, X-Men, Spider-Man, Captain America, and Iron Man. Retro Planet has a set of three "Wham Bang Pow" metal signs that I think would be pretty rad to hang over your bed. How bad-ass are these super hero tumblers from Marvel Comics!? You should totally display your photos in this DIY comic strip photo frame that comes with re-usable speech bubble stickers and marker. Feel super-safe and warm under classic Wonder Woman throw. Emphasis on the safe. These fully-lined drapes were inspired by Dennis the Menace and Beano comic strips. I like that they're more of a subtle nod to the graphic novel then something like the Avengers window panel drapes, which are also pretty rad. The American Home Rug Company makes this brightly colored rug called "Comic Book Stripes." Here's another awesome rug that brings to mind graphic novels with its colors and ink splotches. If you dream about comics and you know it, clap your hands and buy this pillow case! Ermahgerd, just look at this Avengers-themed bar table and stool set! I'm not sure how I feel about sitting on their faces, but I AM sure that this would figuratively kick ass in anyone's home. (It also comes in Batman.) How awesome is this "STOP!" doorstop? This has got to be the geekiest/coolest way to keep your doors open. It also comes in POW! Have you decorated your space with comic book-inspired goodies?
