Family network makes deployed parenting possible
I believe, wholeheartedly, that the moment I gave birth, my purpose in life shifted toward a new center of gravity: namely, my daughter.
The adventure of parenthood
Friends, boyfriend girlfriend, and marriage–the adventure carries on and on, for a lifetime.
Coming out of the infertility closet
I struggled with infertility for five years before conceiving my son … and a big part of the challenge was the fact that it was a secret. Maybe it’s time to tell my story. You should know, this is a long, long story.
My dirty little secret
I like sex. I liked it before my daughter was born, and I like it even more now that I’m a mom.
Confessions and learning to stop the judgement
I got the look. You other parents will know what I mean. The bad parent look. The why-weren’t-you-watching-your-child-more-closely-and-see-now-look-he-got-hurt-look. That is indeed what happened. Holy crap do our DILFs rock. We’ve featured a few musically inclined DILFs since we began this feature but this week’s hot papa has a new spin on the prominent daddy passion. Thanks to Kayleigh for sending us this snap of her fiance, Sean and their four month old girl, Audrey. She tells us “Sean […]
Taking the NICU with a grain of salt
The NICU can be a scary place. It really isn’t ever on anyone’s birth plan, but can show up. What’s even scary is when you don’t know what’s going on. I remember when I was told that my son would be in the NICU for an extended period of time. I was beyond frightened. I felt helpless and like I did something wrong to make my baby sick. Looking back on it there’s quite a few things I wish I knew. Knowing them now, I hope to share them and make someone’s experience in the NICU a whole lot less scary.
