How do you dry out a damp apartment?

My husband and I have just bought a lovely flat. Our ground floor unit is rather cool and definitely a bit soggy in the bathroom. Any advice for drying out a place (apart from heaters), or keeping mould away?

Renovating our colourful, lived-in, never-finished, Arts and Crafts bungalow

What can I plant in deep shade?

I have a spot in my apartment building’s courtyard where I buried our beloved family dog. I’d love to plant flowers or something over her final resting spot. The problem is that it’s in deep shade. Got any recommendations for plants that grow well in deep shade?
