Disguising the tube: How to make an old-school TV look less ugly
In my living room I have a modern flat screen television but in my bedroom I have a little twenty-something-inch old school tube TV. I have it sitting on a vintage suitcase to raise it off the dresser to make it visible while lying in bed. That helps the aesthetic nastiness of it, but is there any other ways to make it look cooler?

How to take your living room from “man cave” to “girly”
The apartment I’d like to have is the following: girly and pretty with soft colours — what a dream. Unfortunately, my apartment looks closer to a man cave than Jenni’s pretty apartment. How do I work around these comfy, yet quite masculine, black leather couches to create something girly?
How can I create a peaceful, Buddhist-inspired bedroom for my child?
I’ve been searching for Buddhist-inspired baby and/or kid’s rooms online — and I haven’t found much. Many of the rooms I’m finding are for adults, and I’m not sure how to incorporate the ideas into a kid’s room. I would love to see other people’s creative takes on creating a Buddhist (any branch of Buddhism) baby nursery. How have you created a bedroom inspired by Buddhism for your kids?

I begged her for more details on how she achieved this rainbow hallway look, and she divulged the goods!
Nerdalicious entertainment center
>I’m excited to present the first dude-made Monday Moment. Long time Homie Juniper Zombie shared with me what she calls her “husband’s pride and joy” — the nerdy entertainment center moment featuring retro gaming, Ghostbusters and Transformers all in one area.
Monday Moment: A garden-y, banner-y, window moment
This beautifully lit bedroom moment was created with a box on a chair, supporting a pretty pink potted geranium in front of a window. The kicker — that tiny bunting draped across the window frame. This moment is so fresh and pretty that I want to go to there.
De-beigeifying our rental kitchen with no-damage DIY and lots of color
Just because your lease commands that your place remain “rental beige” doesn’t mean that you can’t make your home colorful, useful, and glittery. Yeah, I said glittery! Check out one Homie’s de-beigeifying work-arounds.
