Just in case you were wondering, Etsy is a really stellar birthday resource. You can find everything from handmade birthday-themed clothing to paper accessories (banners, invites, gift tags, etc.). In short, it’s AWESOME.
For example: have you seen this crazy trippy tutu? It comes in sizes 0-3 months all the way to 2T.
Looking for something to give your friends/relatives/favorite group of parents an awesome gift to celebrate their child’s birthday? Check out the Child’s first birthday tree print from YourKeepsakeCo. It’s personalized with each child’s finger prints, and can hold up to sixty of ’em! I’m pretty sure that means sixty of the child’s fingerprints, at least. Since it’s fully customizable, you can mark any birthday you so desire — not just the first. The print measures 11×14 and is $28, so you can decide whether or not to spring for a frame to go with.
- Need a cute way to hide/wrap a gift? Look at this cupcake gift box!! Each box is 9 inches around and 3 inches tall — perfect for little trinkets and other such randomocity.
- ATTN: Crafty/scrap-booking parents! SheryKDesigns has the funkiest robot scrap-booking paper I’ve ever seen.
- I’m not sure exactly what these brown paper elephant tags are for, (gifts? To decorate with? The possibilities are endless!), but I love them.
I’m pretty much obsessed with paper garlands, and Vintage Love and Enchanting Breeze from MaraMay are perfect. You can use these as birthday party decor and then recycle it for your own use — be it in a kid’s room, your room, the kitchen … wherever! The garland measures 25′ long, so you could also string it up as one piece or divide it into several. If neither of these are your style, MaraMay has six more options to choose from.
And, finally, I’m pretty sure this is the most adorable baby hat I’ve ever seen:
That hat is to die for!!
I’m going to buy one of those hats for my cousins baby…now I just have to pick!
Etsy is awesome! I love supporting inde artists!
