Where do you find awesome shirts that fit tall people?

I have a great love for fun t-shirts. Family Guy, Marvel superheroes, cats with top hats, etc. My husband is the same way, but he faces one hell of challenge:

He’s 6’2″. Regular-sized t-shirts make him look like a midriff-hinting high school cheerleader, and the only t-shirts I’ve found that fit tall people are plain and boring!

Where can tall people find interesting t-shirts to wear? A crowd like this must have some secret sources! -Alanna

Any tall Homies in the house? Do you have any go-to brands or stores for shirts that make sure your tummies are covered when you want them to be?

  2. HI MY NAME IS DANIEL, IM 6 FEET AND 4 INCHES. I STRUGGLED FOR A WHILE TRYING TO FIND BRANDS THAT FIT ME RIGHT AND ARE LONG ENOUGH. IM 210LBS SO WEIGHT ISNT THE ISSUE ITS JUST THE LENGTH OF THE SHIRTS. BRANDS I HAVE FOUND THAT WORK WELL FOR ME ARE HURLEY, DARK SEAS, ANALOG AND BURTON. GRANT IT U WILL PAY A LITTLE MORE FOR THESE HIGH END SHIRTS AND HOODIES BUT THE QUALITY IS SECOND TO NONE AND THE LENGTH IS SPOT ON. HOPE SOMEONE FINDS THIS HELPFUL. IM NOT WEALTHY BY ANY MEANS BUT HAVE COME TO REALIZE THAT U GET WHAT U PAY 4 WHEN IT COMES TO CLOTHING.

  3. 6’6″ and a victim of Tallism my entire life. One site that is very responsive to “tall” people is 80stees.com . They even respond to tweets and email asking for certain shirts in tall. When you go to their site simply search “XLT” and it will bring up all the shirts they carry in Tall.

  5. Im 6’1, but have the upper body of a 6’4er. I’m athletically built so have a hard time finding shirts. I have found the following brands pretty decent in shirt length; Obey, Diamond Supply Co, LRG, Stussy. Their shirts tend to be about 82-84cm (33inch) from shoulder to hem in XL (versus the usual about 75cm (30inch) in other brands). Some online stores (such as Caliroots.com) have good measurements on these brands, which makes shopping so much easier.

    Also H&M has a new ‘Long Fit’ line. But they are so tall that if you’re not atleast 6’4, you will look silly 🙂
