How I live with my crafty person
I am the husband of a crafty person. I believe there should be a support group for that.
Our house is a tornado of crafts. I’m constantly finding needles and pins with bare feet. The floor is riddled with beads and string. The cabinets are full of fabric. Her Pinterest has no cohesive theme and both Netflix and Youtube have no idea what to recommend to us.
Don’t get me wrong: my wife is a wonderful person. She is smart, eccentric, and immensely creative. She funnels most of that creativity into crafting, and that when our adventure begins.
A simple, easy-to-make, portable board game
My husband and I both love playing games, especially board games. We have a games bookcase that’s full of our favorites, but the one we play the most is Go. It was one of the easiest projects we’ve ever done, and also one of the most useful. Here’s how we did it.

How to make rad industrial-looking house numbers
I originally saw this idea on Offbeat Home a while back. I wasn’t able to find any specific tutorials on how to make the threaded house numbers online, so I figured it out as I went along. Here’s how you can make your own industrial house numbers.
How to turn record album sleeves into swanky boxes
Do you have some record album sleeves left over from your record-melting crafty-fun-times? Are some of those records you picked up at that garage sale looking awesome but not sounding so great? Smell the holiday decorations: DIY orange and clove pomanders
I’m not much of a baker, and during the holiday season I really miss the smells that were produced from my mother’s kitchen. When I first saw these pomanders, I loved how pretty they looked — but then the amazing smell hit me and I knew I needed to make some to help fill my house with awesome aromas.
