Yep, you can totally do this yourself if you have access to a program like Photoshop, GIMP, or Pixlr. My tutorial focuses on Photoshop, but I’ve linked other program tutorials in the post as well.

How to DIY coloring pages from a photo for your wedding reception

Tips: a high-contrast, non-blurry photo works best. Also make sure your photo is high enough resolution to be printable, but it’s not super important since we’re doing so much editing to it.

  1. I just did this for my daughter (2) who loves looking at pictures of the family! She loves pointing to the family members and herself as she “attempts” to color them.

  2. This is very unsettling to me and I don’t know why! LOL!
    Maybe it’s an uncanny valley thing? IDK. Definitely a cool idea, though. I think I’d try it for myself for pictures without people.
