A skulltacular No Soliciting sign, links to a Royal Tenenbaums house tour, and the furriest pink couch you’ve ever SEEN!

July 25 |

Hellllllllo, Offbeat Homies! Let's get the week going with a look at what's been going on in the world of our readers.

No Soliciting!
Now THAT is an Offbeat Home-style no soliciting sign. Thanks to Natalie for sharing it.

Lovely Ladies on the Deck
Chae's super-lovely ladies had a porch party. There were a lot of stylish drinks to go along with the cute people.
1 of 4 pink fur couches for Burning Man 2011
Halcyon is madly prepping for Burning Man -- this is just the first of four pink fur couches. I'd put it in my sitting room!
a lone stack
So NOT cool continues her simple daily documentation of thrifted, vintage, and heirloom objects with these simply pretty cups.
Threadcakes entry
Ginny worked up an entry for the Threadcakes contest. Nosferatucake didn't turn out super, but the great thing about cakes: they still taste good even if they didn't turn out quite right.
Little Sister
Joker Venom did baby sister's first dye job; she selected a purple.
Where Am I?
Sam Breach passed by such a lovely succulent vignette in San Fran.

  1. Oh, that's so weird, I have that blue dress in the porch party picture.

    Also, succulentttssss.

  2. thanks for posting our Tiki meets Mad Men shindig! i wanted to throw a fab vintage birthday party.. but something different than the typical 4th of july party, so Crystal (the bartender in the pictures) and i came up with the Tiki/Mad Men theme… Chae was amazing as our hostess, and i'm so glad we had it at her lovely house! One of the best birthdays i've had in a long time!
