Lani's insane-in-a-good-way baby photos

Lani might just be one of my favorite OBM Flickr contributors, because stuff like the following photo is just PURE INSPIRATION.

No babies were harmed in the making of this photograph.

For those of you who've read Offbeat Bride for a while, you may remember Lani's candy-themed wedding. She brings that same sense of fun to parenting…

*Siiiiiigh* Dealing with shenanigans such as this is hard work for a kid.
Would anyone care for a spot of tea?

    • I have a lobster that I got on a trip to Maine when I was three. I would love to recreate that photograph with it when I have a baby.

  2. I have the strangest bookmarks of baby inspiration links from the internet – and this just made it ๐Ÿ™‚ Note: remember to take awesome pictures of child in odd places :).

  3. Hey! That's my baby! I can't take all the credit, my husband Jamie is just as guilty as me for taking ridiculous photos. We just can't help ourselves…we have this cute little pudgy baby and we get all these ideas…tomorrow is Canada Day and let's just say we already bought some props for the photo-op. Hehe… And really, the goofy photos started while she was still in utero. See link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/lani_sommers/3987940581/

Thanks for featuring my photos! You know that there will be more to come. I will organize an insane folder on my flickr page soon. ๐Ÿ˜€

  4. Looking at that baby in the pot after reading "every time is THE right time!!" from the last post made my ovaries explode.

    • I just can't do the frilly dress thing. I have a few frilly dresses for her and every time I put her in one she just looks….wrong. She's gonna be a tomboy like her mama methinks! She also gets the same "snake" look on her face when dressed in frills.
