My daughter’s awesome ’70s-inspired nursery

We moved into our rental on our first anniversary and when I was in my third trimester of pregnancy with my daughter Logan. I was so excited to get started on her nursery — I knew it was going to be bright and vibrant. I had made some pillow cases for my former Etsy store and paired them with a quilt that was made for my husband and me as a wedding gift.

I made and thrifted most of the decor in the room. I had a lot of fun putting it all together and am most proud of my $20 lime green chair that I found at a thrift store. I can’t wait for Logan to be in the “story time” before bed phase so we can make lots of sweet memories in that chair.

  1. I love this room!!!!! What’s funny is my son has a crazy quilt in his room, and for a long time we had a funky mid century mod avo green chair in there, and I thought it was the bomb. Now he’s 4 and it just looks like a bomb went off in it.
