As Portland melts into early summer, we’ve been looking for any excuse to celebrate the flavors of spring. This led to a small get together at home with some of our close friends, where we spent a delicious afternoon sipping cocktails. We love to dream up original cocktails with locally-made spirits, seasonal garnishes, and homemade syrups.

We would love to share this recipe with you so you can have a spring gathering of your own. The drink is fun to make, and substitutions are easy — if you can’t get Oregon-made spirits, check out your local distilleries and use some of their products instead!

The Stumptown Fizz features ultra-smooth Aria Portland Dry Gin, simple syrup made from fresh rose petals, elderflower liqueur, and a bit of citrus.

Enjoy this sipper on your front porch as spring fades, and get ready for the best summer ever!
