frying pandaHoly crapsicles, how cute is this freaking frying pan? I’m sorry, I mean, frying panda. I fell in love with her when I saw her over on ModCloth. I was also impressed to see that the reviews were all glowing. Apparently it’s not just a pretty face — this pan can handle whatever you can cook up!

So I headed over to Amazon to do a price check and found her for just slightly cheaper. And you know what: I snapped one up!

Now she fits in perfectly with my animals-as-kitchen-utensils collection.

Comments on I love my frying panda

  1. I hate to be a Debby Downer, but I bought 2 pans that have cute stripes and after about 10 cooking sessions, they all just turned black and indistinguishable. Maybe I am harder on my pans than most, but having anything that close to fire is going to get yucky. 🙁

    • I think it depends if you have a gas stove or an electric one. Because I’ll agree, anything that goes near fire is going to go black (My poor camping set went from blue to black in one trip) but electric stoves are a bit more gentle on pots and pans.

      • I don’t know if electric are any better. I had an electric stove and it turned all my pots and pans black. I think it’s more about the quality of the pan. My mom’s nice pans have very few marks, even after many years.

      • Awww. I’m sorry Megan. :hugs:

I think it’s adorable! I’d love to have a panda frying pan. I wonder if they come in any other cute animals. XD

As for the people worried about marks, hand washing the pans usually helps them last longer (cheap or expensive). For some reason, my dishwasher tends to destroy pans. But if I hand wash them, they’re fine.
