Holy WOW, am I into this tutorial for chevron curtains from Kristen Davis:

This project, which I’ve been plotting and planing for a while, almost was a big fail. I’d wanted some giant chevron curtains in our living room for a while — I’d done the shower curtain a few months ago, but for some reason they weren’t a good fit in the living room (to me). I couldn’t find fabric like this online, so I decided to do it myself!

  1. You can also buy fabric paint that you apply with a brush. This would be a possible alternative to the wall paint. I’m betting you could also use regular acrylic paint, though I’m not sure if this would be 100% waterproof if you were going to wash them.

  2. Golden has a paint additive GAC made to mix with acrylic paint for painting on cloth. you can still seal the paint with gloss or matte varnish when done so that the paint won’t easily come off. If you don’t go too crazy with it, it won’t be too stiff. Even if it is stiff, might be a cool effect, like your own, better, version of those ugly accordion doors.
